You will learn about the types of mutual funds, about comparing and choosing funds and about teaching your students ways they can begin to invest using mutual funds. You will use specific guidelines for choosing mutual funds as you explore interactive mutual fund websites and the Stock Market Game site with its comprehensive teacher Resource Center. You will learn how relevant economic and financial market concepts such as supply and demand, economic cycles and the growth of foreign economies affect the market and the performance of your funds.
